At Nottingham Ukrainian School, learning goes beyond textbooks. Every Saturday, children immerse themselves in the Ukrainian language, history, and culture — all while building a strong sense of identity and community. Our teaching blends tradition with creativity to make education meaningful and joyful.
What We Teach
We offer classes in Ukrainian language, literature, speech development, music, history, geography, and Ukrainian studies. Ukrainian studies run through all disciplines, integrating them into thematic blocks. Each subject helps students better understand their roots and take pride in their identity, while also contributing to promoting Ukraine’s image abroad.
How We Learn
We nurture children’s motivation and interest by inspiring a love for all things Ukrainian. In our lessons, we use modern approaches and resources, combining structured learning with play, music, storytelling, project work, and the celebration of important dates. From interactive classes to community events, each child receives individual support and the opportunity to develop their talents and skills.
